Hi, I'm Tina Hoar. I am a fully qualified counsellor having gained a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling in 2009. I am a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I adhere fully to their ethical framework. This requires that I have regular supervision to ensure I am working safely and confidentiality with clients, as well as following safe practices. I have up to date safeguarding training, a recent DBS certificate and I am fully insured. Certificates are can be viewed if required.
Prior to counselling, my background was in teaching. Since 2009 I have counselled in a variety of settings; higher education colleges, young people’s charity, Child and Adolescent Mental Services (CAMHS), as a school counsellor and run a large, successful private practice. As part of my desire to offer the best support I can I maintain a commitment to continued professional development.
