'I am not the sort of person that finds the idea of going to counselling easy, so it was with some trepidation that I approached Tina, especially after a poor experience with well-meaning, but overstretched and slightly impersonal-seeming NHS treatment. All I can say is that Tina helped me through a very difficult period in my life with her personal, warm, and understanding approach. I have no hesitation recommending her services and she would be my first port of call should I ever feel I needed counselling in the future.'
‘I worked with Tina for around 10 months and had the most enjoyable experience. Our connection and honesty were paramount for myself in sorting out my personal issues and overcoming some difficult life experiences. Myself personally had never even thought of having counselling before however when I committed to the cause Tina was my go-to person. Tina displays a nonpressured approach and implements a well-established professional service **** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ***’
‘I was very nervous when I had my initial assessment with Tina, but I immediately felt comfortable with her and with her approach. I felt comfortable and safe enough to talk through issues that I had 'buried but that were still affecting me now. I would highly recommend Tina as a counsellor and would like to thank her for helping me through some difficult times.’
‘I am not underestimating when I say counselling with Tina has been life-changing! Tina creates a welcoming, open atmosphere, allowing you to go at your own pace - I couldn't recommend her services more highly.’
‘I contacted Tina at a point in my life where I felt I’d almost hit rock bottom and didn’t know where to turn. Nothing particularly traumatic or terrible had happened to me, but a series of misfortunate events left me low, lacking confidence and feeling that I had been dealt a bit of a rough hand. Tina made me realise I just needed to change my outlook on situations and how I viewed myself. I had six sessions and from the first session I felt at ease with her, never judged, always listened to and what I now realise, encouraged to make my own path forward with confidence. I would not hesitate to see Tina again if I felt I needed it and would recommend her to anyone.’
‘I’ve had 10 sessions with Tina, and can honestly say she is amazing!! When I first met Tina I was at rock bottom but with her help and techniques I have managed to turn my life around. The sessions have helped me to believe in myself and build my confidence massively. I highly recommend Tina she is so easy to talk to and there is no judgment!’
‘I have been struggling with depression for so long, it had become my normal way of living. I found it very hard to talk about my true feelings and I had become very good at putting on an act in front of other people. However, one day my sister sensed I was not right and suggested I see a counsellor. The thought of admitting my state of mind and saying aloud how I felt to a stranger seemed terrifying. I did not think I’d be able to open up for a few sessions, but with Tina, it was so easy. I cried the whole way through my first session (and I never cry in front of anyone) and it all came out very easily! Tina is so lovely, so genuine and so easy to talk to.’
‘I have walked away from all my sessions with hope, and with easy changes to put in place. I felt so lucky that Tina had my best interests at heart and when I’d given up hope of life being better/easier I actually had the feeling that Tina would achieve what seemed unachievable and would almost fix me. Very quickly the changes Tina suggested made a real difference and I even found myself looking forward to my next session!’
‘Tina genuinely cares and will do anything for her clients. During shut down, she’d regularly checked in on me and that I was OK and I always felt like I could contact her any time that I needed.’
‘I have made many bad decisions in my life but seeing Tina has been one of my best! In fact, she’s so good/ lovely... I might end up having sessions with her for life. I wish that I had seen Tina years ago. I cannot recommend her enough, I can guarantee whatever your needs are, Tina is just who you need in your life to make it better.’
‘I really appreciate the help and support that you gave me - like so much! The last 2 months were a major shock for me, and I was just so terrified of why I was so tense and nervous physically and why I could not stop dwelling on the things that were making me feel scared! You made me feel so normal and reassured me that anxiety is normal to experience - especially at a time like this! But most importantly you told me that I was in control - which made all the difference - I realised I could literally tell myself you do not need to get anxious about any of this. I now identify any thoughts that are anxiety thoughts and I know that anxiety feeds anxiety so not to worry if I momentarily have a thought. I know it will take a bit of time to fully go - but I have learnt so much about myself and will look after myself always - (the 5 pillars). But I think for me it’s been important as I now have so much more understanding and empathy for those around me, and I do see things slightly differently!
I know that you said If I ever felt wobbly, I could come to you again. But mainly I just really wanted you to know that I am so grateful to you - and will be for the rest of my life - which is crazy and cool!’
‘Tina is simply an amazing counsellor! My son had extreme anxiety issues and nothing anyone could say or do would help. But even from his first session he began to open up and trust Tina. She gave him practical ways to help him cope which worked immediately and he was able to start living a normal life. I would be 100% happy to recommend Tina to any parent.’
‘I am truly grateful for the life changing help and support Tina gave me. I would never have thought I would need a counsellor but when faced with a problem I couldn’t cope with alone, Tina was very skilled at helping me get through it. She is professional and supportive. I feel like I can cope with anything now!’
‘My son had a massive fear of dogs and it was getting to the stage he wouldn’t leave the house. Tina was calm and understanding and worked wonders with him. She was even able to make him laugh in his sessions which was heartwarming for me to see! Thanks to Tina he is now able to walk past dogs and has even patted a couple!’
